Antigua & Barbuda & Grenada Share OECS Swimming Championship

The 31st OECS Swimming competition held in St Lucia has come to a thrilling end, resulting in a joint victory for Antigua and Barbuda and Grenada.

The three-day competition was a display of sheer determination, with swimmers from both teams giving it their all and accumulating a remarkable total of 1,347.50 points. Coming in third was St Vincent and the Grenadines with 1,239.50 points, followed by St Lucia, St Kitts and Nevis, and St Maarten in fourth, fifth, and sixth places respectively.

The Grenada Amateur Swimming Association (GASA) praised the young swimmers for their exceptional performance, highlighting their hard work and dedication.

“Each and every swimmer understood the assignment and was aware of the goal, and it showed in their impressive performance. We are proud of their commendable achievement, with many of them achieving several personal bests in their respective races,” said GASA in celebration of their team’s success.
