Three local bakers who have earned spots in the semi-finals of the Caribbean Baking Awards are urging residents to show their support by casting votes in the respective categories for which they have been nominated.

The talented individuals making waves in the competition are Shaarah Jackson Lawrence of ‘Creative Confections,’ Philip Kapcio, the creative mind behind ‘Philton’s Cakery,’ and Timoy Titus, the artisan from ‘Teez Delights.’

These bakers, among many others from across the Caribbean, are vying for a chance to advance to the finals, with only five individuals set to progress.

Voting polls are now open and will remain active until December 15.

Shaarah Jackson Lawrence is vying for the title of Caribbean Rising Star Baker, aiming to be recognized as the creative force behind the best butter rum cake.

Timoy Titus has received nominations in various categories, including Best Wedding Cake, Best Butter Rum Cake, Best Cookie Art, Cake Hero, Baker of the Year (Small Business), and Cake Artist of the Year.

Meanwhile, Philip Kapcio has secured nominations in three distinct categories: Best Bakery Shop of the Year, Baker of the Year, and Cake Artist of the Year. The bakers appreciate the community’s support as they strive for success in this prestigious competition.
