Police Public Relations Officer Inspector Frankie Thomas has said that an autopsy will be conducted to determine the precise death of 17-year-old Brandon Canoville of Judges Hill, who died on Saturday.

The accident that resulted in his death occurred several weeks ago

Canoville, a promising youngster, was struck while he rode his bicycle on Friars Hill Road. According to reports, Canoville was attempting to avoid a collision

He was apparently in harm’s way and could have been crushed by the wheels of a truck when he made a quick decision to jump off his bicycle

Canoville sustained a number of injuries including head trauma and broken bones. He was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center

He lost his battle on Saturday, leaving his family, classmates, friends, and his entire community in shock and grief.

The investigation into the traffic incident is underway
