The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda is in mourning following the loss of one of its own. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Senior Sergeant John Pelle, who died on Sunday, 7th January, at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center after a brief illness.

Pelle was a dedicated and committed member of the police force, having been enlisted on October 27, 1980.

Throughout his long and illustrious career, Pelle worked in various departments, including Immigration, Criminal Investigations Department, Collators Office, Dockyard Police Station, and the Stores Department, where he was last attached.

He served with distinction and was a respected member of the police force, known for his dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to duty.

Commissioner of Police, Mr. Atlee Rodney, expresses his deepest sympathies to Pelle’s family and colleagues on his passing.

Pelle served in the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda for an unbroken period of 43 years, a testament to his unwavering commitment to public service.

He died at the age of 61 years, leaving behind a legacy of service that will be remembered for years to come.
