Prime Minister Gaston Browne says he can prove that the Antigua and Barbuda Workers Union gave money to the Opposition United Progressive Party for the election campaign.

Browne said while it is not illegal to give a financial gift to any party, it is unethical coming from a union that receives money from workers’ dues

Browne said he could prove how the money was transferred to the UPP.

He mentioned financial statements from ABWU’s snackette , which reported massive financial losses over a period
