Commissioner Atlee Rodney has been reelected unopposed as President of the Association of Caribbean Commissioners of Police (ACCP) for a second one-year term (2024-2025).
The reelection occurred during the ACCP’s 38th Annual General Meeting and Conference, which was held in Belize City from May 13 to 17, 2024.
The ACCP comprises 25 members and comprises Commissioners from various Caribbean countries and collaborates with law enforcement agencies in the United States, Canada, Germany, Australia, and the Netherlands.
The theme of the 38th Annual General Meeting was “Improving Regional Security through Law Enforcement Cooperation.”
Commissioner Rodney’s executive team includes 1st Vice President Commissioner Chester Williams of Belize, 2nd Vice President Commissioner Clayton Fernander of the Bahamas, and Secretary/Treasurer Commissioner Crusita Descartes-Pelius of St. Lucia.
