It is with profound sadness that I acknowledge the passing of Yvonne Williams Willis, a distinguished former national netball player.

Yvonne’s dedication, talent, and sportsmanship left an indelible mark on the netball community and inspired countless athletes.

Her contributions to the sport and her vibrant spirit will always be remembered. 

As Minister of Sports, I extend heartfelt condolences to her family and friends during this difficult time. Yvonne’s legacy will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her.
