The owner of a local gas Station, appeared in the All-Saints Magistrates’ Court yesterday, facing charges of possessing fifty 9mm rounds of ammunition without a license.

He pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined $7,300, which he must pay within three months to avoid a three-month prison sentence.

It is said that police executed a search warrant at his home following an altercation involving his son.

During the search, the owner voluntarily handed over the ammunition.

Despite being a licensed firearm holder, he was arrested because the bullets did not match his registered firearm.
