A masked gunman viciously raped a woman in her twenties on Monday.

The incident occurred a little after 2 a.m. when the man entered her house through a western push-up window and blinded her with a bright light.

The perpetrator, described as approximately 5ft 8 inches tall, was dressed entirely in black clothing, wore a black ski mask, and carried a handgun.

After the assault, he proceeded to ransack her room and stole around $400.00 in cash from her purse.

Upon examination, police confirmed that the perpetrator entered through a closed but unlocked western push-up window and exited through a western front door.

Despite conducting a search in the immediate area, the police could not locate a suspect matching the description.

The victim was promptly taken to the hospital for medical attention.

In a separate incident, another woman reported being raped by a lone masked man on Sunday at 5 am at her residence.
