A Dominican woman has been charged with wounding following a confrontation at a local hotel.

Urbi Richards made an appearance in the All Saints Magistrate’s Court yesterday, charged with causing harm to Ashley Barrett during an incident at the resort on Sunday.

Reportedly, the altercation began in the kitchen when Barrett requested another individual to make space for her to access the freezer.

Allegedly, Richards then collided with Barrett, leading to a physical altercation.

During the scuffle, Barrett was struck with an object.

Following the altercation, Richards reportedly left the premises.

Barrett sustained a bleeding wound to the left side of her forehead and a broken tooth, necessitating hospital treatment.

Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel granted Richards bail in the amount of $6,000 on Thursday. To secure her release, she was required to pay $1,500 in cash along with other stipulated conditions.

Richards is scheduled to appear in court again on September 17 for her next hearing.
