Some religious groups have raised concerns with the government regarding the involvement of young individuals using marijuana upon entering places of worship.

Although the government has removed criminal penalties for marijuana use, Prime Minister Gaston Browne emphasized that the substance has not been legalized for recreational use.

Prime Minister Browne made these remarks on Saturday. While he does not oppose the herb’s use, he believes it is essential to uphold people’s values.
