Donna-Hue Brown, a 42-year-old resident of Yorks who is facing charges of possessing over three pounds of marijuana, has been given bail.

The accused was slapped with several charges, including possession of 3½ pounds of cannabis, possession of cannabis with intent to transfer, and involvement in the supply of cannabis over the weekend.

The police executed a search warrant on her property on June 6, resulting in the discovery of the controlled substance.

Appearing at the St. John’s Magistrates’ Court, Brown was granted bail set at $25,000.

To secure her release, she must pay $2,000 in cash and fulfill additional bail conditions, including providing sureties, weekly check-ins at a police station, and surrendering her travel documents.
