Third report of rape by masked men in a week
The police are investigating yet another report of such an incident, allegedly occurring last Saturday at about 4am.
The victim, an adult woman, was reportedly sexually violated by a masked man. The report has been referred to the Special Victims Unit, and the police are actively looking into the matter.
Inspector Frankie Thomas has emphasized the gravity of any sexual offense committed against women and has urged women, especially those living alone, to take necessary precautions to protect themselves and secure their homes.
He advised women to be vigilant about their surroundings, avoid poorly lit or remote locations, and be cautious to ensure their safety.
The police are appealing to the public for any information regarding these ongoing investigations and are committed to addressing such offenses with the seriousness they warrant.
