Three men, allegedly caught with two guns, ammunition, and masks in their vehicle last Wednesday, have been remanded.

Judah Francis, 24, from Potters Village, Devonte Burton, 24, from Paynters, and Jahquan Davis, 22, from Skerrits Pasture, were apprehended while traveling in a grey Toyota Vitz near the Factory playfield by a combined police-military team.

They are charged for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition, as well as attempting to use a firearm for criminal purposes.

Francis, additionally charged with dangerous driving, admitted guilt to all charges except attempting to use the firearm for an offense.

While Francis accepted responsibility, the other two men denied the accusations.

But the prosecution was not satisfied so a trial date was set for September 23.

The trio was then remanded by Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel.
