The GARD Centre Robbery Loss Exceeds $80,000
The GARD Centre at Gilbert’s Estate near Pares Village recently experienced a weekend robbery, which resulted in losses totaling around $80,000.
June Jackson, the Executive Director, stated that the staff is still affected by the extensive building losses and damage.
They are currently working on finalizing the list of missing items for a formal report to the police.
The robbers disrupted various systems within the facility, prompting the need for additional security measures.
Despite the challenges, support from sponsors and partners and the staff’s determination will ensure that the GARD Centre continues its important work of empowering young individuals.
