Press Statement

Calling all Calypsonians to participate in Official Carnival Calypso Tents.

The Antigua and Barbuda Festival Commission (ABFC) is committed to preserving the vibrant Calypso tradition.

It actively supports this by creating platforms that offer Calypsonians opportunities to showcase their artistry. In line with this, the ABFC is now relaxing the rule, now allowing Calypsonians to give a minimum of one (1) performance in any approved Calypso Tents for qualifications to the 2024 Calypso Monarch Quarterfinals.

ABFC encourages all Calypsonians to participate in the Calypso Tents on Fridays at Julees Kaiso Korner Calypso Tent and on Saturdays at Tent City at Rum Runners as we build the Carnival Spirit collaboratively.

#CarnivalIsCalling ALL Calypso Lovers to immerse themselves in the one-of-a-kind experience at Tent City. Discover why we say, ‘Ah, Love It Here!
