Caribbean Airlines, a prominent airline serving the Caribbean region, was honored with the prestigious title of Best Airline Staff Service in Central America & Caribbean at the renowned 2024 World Airline Awards.

The ceremony, which took place on June 24, 2024, at the iconic Fairmont Windsor Park, was hosted by Skytrax, a well-respected international air transport rating organization.

Garvin Medera, the CEO of Caribbean Airlines, expressed immense gratitude and pride in the team’s achievement by stating, “This award reflects the dedication, passion, and hard work of our entire staff.

At Caribbean Airlines, we prioritize creating unforgettable travel experiences by delivering exceptional service with the genuine warmth and friendliness synonymous with the Caribbean spirit.

Being recognized as the top airline in staff service by our passengers and industry peers is a significant honor and motivates us to continue surpassing our customers’ expectations.”

Edward Plaisted, CEO of Skytrax, congratulated Caribbean Airlines on their remarkable accomplishment, acknowledging the significance of being named the Best Airline Staff Service in Central America & Caribbean at the 2024 World Airline Awards.

The World Airline Awards were introduced in 1999 as an independent and impartial platform to conduct a truly global customer satisfaction study.

Travelers from around the world participate in the largest airline passenger satisfaction survey to determine the award winners, with the awards being widely referred to as “the Oscars of the aviation industry.”

It’s important to note that all costs related to the survey and awards event are covered by Skytrax, and airlines do not pay any entry or registration fees to participate.

The online customer survey for the 2023-2024 period was available in multiple languages, including English, French, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, and Chinese.

The survey saw an impressive participation of over 100 customer nationalities, with 21.42 million eligible entries being considered in the final results. Entries were meticulously screened for duplicate, suspect, or ineligible submissions, ensuring the integrity of the survey process.

This year’s survey encompassed feedback from a diverse range of passengers, contributing to the comprehensive and representative nature of the awards..

Nah. The sole “flight attendant/hostess”? on the Caribbean Airways flight on Thursday 6 June (Guyana/Barbados), out of Ogle, Guyana was the most unmannerly. unhelpful and sour faced ‘senior’ hostess I’ve come across.
