This evening, a crowd gathered to pay tribute to the late Keith Yearwood, who tragically passed away while volunteering during a World Cup 20 match at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua and Barbuda.
The community came together for a touching candlelight vigil organized by the National Festivals Commission and the Ministry of Creative Industries.
The vigil took place outside the Festival Commission office on Redcliffe Street, where heartfelt stories of Yearwood’s helpful nature and unwavering commitment to his duties were shared.
It was evident that Yearwood touched the lives of many with his selfless and dedicated attitude.
As the community honors his memory, preparations are being made for Yearwood’s burial, which is scheduled for Monday, August 12th.
