Senator Rawdon Turner, alongside his team, demonstrated their dedication to ensuring that every student in the St. Peter community is fully equipped for the upcoming school year by distributing hundreds of backpacks on a Saturday.

The backpacks were filled with essential school supplies, including pens, pencils, books, erasers, tape, notepads, rulers, geometry sets, pencil cases, crayons, highlighters, scissors, and glue sticks.

The distribution took place at the St. Peter Empowerment Centre, located west of the Parham Basketball Court.

Senator Turner, the caretaker for St Peter, emphasized that the initiative goes beyond providing supplies; it’s about empowering students with the necessary tools to excel in their educational journey.
