I’m Not Getting Married…I’m Not Migrating, says Shugy

The United Progressive Party candidate for St. Mary’s South, Kelvin “Shugy” Simon, has dismissed as “nonsense”, claims that he will soon marry an American woman and migrate.

Simon has denied these allegations, stating, “I am not migrating and I am not getting married,” to Antigua.news. He believes that someone is trying to undermine people’s confidence in him.

Simon is known for his passion for education, community service, traveling, and socializing.

He won the seat for the UPP in the last general elections and also emerged victorious in a by-election. He emphasized his commitment to the people who elected him, stating,

“The people have elected me twice. This is not something I would do to them after they have trusted me overwhelmingly. I won’t leave them stranded. This is not what you do to those who depend on you and elect you. Others may have done that but I am not others…I am their representative,” he added.

    Faithful national actually. THE issue at hand is whether there will be one less man in the UPP camp. The public like me could care less who Shugy is Shagging. I am happy that he isn’t leaving because thag would cripple UPP.

    The info concerning tge character in question was deliberately planted by someone close to him in order to 1) distract the attention of an idle and not too cerebral public and 2) to shoot this irrelevant character into the public narrative. Who the hell cares if he plans to get married, and to a ” foreigner”? This is all strictly for cheap entertainment value, I say! Oh please!
