The partner of one of three fishermen missing at sea for over four weeks believes that the police stopped their search too soon
“Search everywhere. Don’t leave anything unturned”, Odessa Smith said in an interview with State Media
Odessa is the partner of Shalico Charles, who went on a fishing expedition on December 01 with two other fishermen, Captain Vere Isaac and crew member Cleon Joseph. They set out aboard the 23-foot boat Give Thanks but have not returned.
During her interview with State Media, she said each passing moment feels like an eternity for her and her children, who are grappling not just with their absence but with a profound sense of loss and longing.
She calls for renewed efforts to find the missing men, all while praying that hope will prevail in the face of overwhelming odds.
LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, I pray in the Mighty and Matchless Name of Jesus that these men will be found soon and found alive. Jesus only You know the pain that their loved ones feel by their absence and ONLY You ALONE can perform this miracle. LORD, do what only You can and reunion this family with joy and hope in Jesus’ Mighty Name I pray AMEN, AMEN, AMEN!!!
Strength to these people. Lord alone knows
As hopeless as it sounds as painful as it is for the families of the missing men, blaming the search and rescue team is not the right way to go I believe they did their best with the limited resources they have under the circumstances..we can only continue to pray and wish for their safe return.
