Benna Girls gear up for action this weekend

Antigua and Barbuda will this weekend host, Haiti, Belize and Guyana for top honors in the CONCACAF Women’s U20 Qualifiers.

Matches will begin tomorrow, Friday, at the ABFA Technical Center starting at 10 am with Guyana facing Belize.

The Benna Girls will battle Haiti at 3 pm.

On Sunday February 23rd, Belize will play Haiti and Antigua and Barbuda Guyana while on Tuesday February 25th, Haiti will play Guyana and Antigua and Barbuda will battle Belize.

All game times remain the same at 10 am and then 3 pm. The Benna Girls team has been announced.

Goalkeepers- Alyssa Laviscount, Amyah Hodge.

Defenders- Dequania Henry, Karmeilla Hughes, Kayla Melvin, Abisha Henry, Thedia Browne, Shemequa Benjamin, Denovia Jarvis.

Midfielders- Ajahna Martin, Mia Lake, Daniella De Suza, K’niece Browne, Azaliyah Peterson, Latoya Williams, Zoya Simon, Ozora Roberts.

Forward- Abigail Donalds, Gabrielle De Suza, Ireissiea Allen.

Standby- Orienna Cole-defender, Oniyah Prince-goalkeeper

Karen Warner is the Head Coach, Lorraine Charles Assistant Coach, Nikisha Samuel-Goalkeeper Coach, Lakeisha Samuel-Equipment Manager, Anya Allen- Physio, Mclean Lawrence-Trainer and Diane Anthony- Team Manager.

Tickets are available at the ABFA office on non-game days while on game days, tickets can be purchased from the booth on Coronation Road at the Antigua Recreation Grounds (ARG).

Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for children under 12.

A limited number of patrons will gain access as seating capacity is low.

Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
