The public is being encouraged to support a worthy cause, the Music for the Cure.
The event is being put on by the CIBC Caribbean and will feature the talent of the youth through singing, dance and other creative arts while raising awareness at the same time.
“We are very very pleased to come up with new ideas. It will attract a different audience. It a family event and we are looking forward to seeing Antigua and Barbuda there,” Natasha Charles, Manager of the Music for the Cure said.
Schools like Potters Primary, Urlings Primary, Glanvilles Secondary and ABYSO and the Antigua Creative Dancers will perform.
Music for the Cure first took place during the covid-19 pandemic when the bank could not host its annual Walk for the Cure event due to social restrictions and were looking at other avenues to raise awareness.
At the time, they partnered with ABYSO.
The event will take place on March 2nd at the Spring Gardens Moravian Church at 4:30 pm.
Tickets for adults is $20, $10 for children and a group special of five for $10.
Tickets can be collected at the Old Parham Road CIBC branch.
Payment can also be made at the venue.
All proceeds go towards the Breast Friends and the Oncology Department.
Spotlighting the musical youths of our nation and exposing them to the art of performing in front of an audience is a marvelous idea and it will make them better musicians
I endorse this initiative and I will do my best to support this worthy cause
