Superintendent of Prisons Trevor Pennyfeather says Angela Mejia, the twenty-year-old accused of killing 9-year-old Chantel Crump, may soon be ready to accept visitors at 1735.
Mejia has been in prison for several weeks after being charged with the crime, although she has not yet been convicted.

Given how serious and disturbing this case is, a psychological assessment should have been one of the first steps taken especially considering the nature of what happened and how it unfolded.

I find the story interesting because we have not heard anything about Devil Angela since she entered prison. This is good reporting. ABS won’t do that for sure. Doing a psychological assessment may lead to her being diagnosed with psyychosis and treated in the mental hospital. So that route may cause her to get off to some extent and not to get the full penalty that she deserves.
