Dominica’s PM to Connect with Nationals in Antigua Amidst Election Speculations

This week, Dominica’s Prime Minister, Roosevelt Skerrit, will visit Antigua and Barbuda for a meet-and-greet event on Friday with Dominicans living on the island. According to the DLP, this engagement is part of their 70th % anniversary celebrations.

Over the past weekend, the Dominica Labour Party (DLP) hosted a significant rally, which drew thousands of enthusiastic supporters, demonstrating the party’s mobilization efforts. The Prime Minister has also garnered support from other regional leaders, including Barbadian Prime Minister Mia Mottley, underscoring a show of solidarity among Caribbean nations.

As the longest-serving Prime Minister in Dominica’s history, Skerrit is anticipated to encourage those living abroad to return home and participate in the upcoming elections when they are called.

      • I hope when he gets there he takes a leaf from Gastons page where running his country is concerned. They can’t beat Gastons leadership even if they try. Dominicana ran away from Skerrit into the arms of Gaston and he is trying to get them to come back and cheat and return? No cheating. No one night stands. We not returning to vote

  2. Not shocking. All the Dominicans living here knows what’s up when is election time

  3. Wait…What? Is this even legal? Might I humbly suggest Mr. Dominican Prime Minister Sir, that you consult with our esteemed Prime Minister Browne as to how to improve the lives of your citizens? Maybe then they’ll stay home and vote for you. CHUPS!!!
