A man was rushed to the hospital with first-degree burns from a house fire in the Ovals area of All Saints Village Monday night.

Officers from the All Saints Fire Department responded to the blaze at 8:30pm and found a 18×32 wooden structure completely engulfed in flames.

The fire officers were able to suppressed the blaze but not before the inferno gutted the wooden structure.

Two occupants of the house were at home at the time of the fire. According to fire officers the injured man had to be alerted that the house was on fire.

Electricity was not attached to the house neither was the structure insured.

Police investigations into the cause of the blaze is ongoing.
