Rwanda Air Service

Tourism Minister Charles Fernandez has announced that talks regarding the Rwanda Air Service are ongoing.

He also indicated that a new air service agreement with Saudi Arabia is anticipated to be finalized within the next few months.

In a recent interview following the announcement of direct flights to Colombia, Fernandez emphasized the government’s commitment to exploring new tourism opportunities.

Fernandez said during an interview with Observer this week that the government is expected to sign the agreement with Saudi Arabia fairly soon, “definitely within a couple of months,”

The minister also highlighted ongoing efforts to broaden the tourism market, aiming to attract visitors from sources beyond the usual North American and European regions
