Man Recovering After Violent Incident in Royal Gardens

A man from Johnson’s Village is currently recovering at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center following a violent incident that left him with a facial fracture and a gunshot wound over the weekend. The event unfolded in Royal Gardens, where the victim, a resident of Johnson’s Village, remains hospitalized.

Reports indicate that the confrontation occurred in the wee hours of the morning and stemmed from a domestic dispute involving the victim and his 18-year-old girlfriend, also from Royal Gardens.

According to police accounts, the situation escalated sharply when the woman’s brother intervened after witnessing what he perceived as the victim pulling his sister during an argument.

In a bid to protect his sister, the brother allegedly struck the victim on the left side of his face with a hammer, resulting in significant fractures.

The altercation did not end there; the victim was subsequently shot in the foot. Authorities are still investigating the details surrounding the shooting and have not disclosed any information about the shooter.

  1. “domestic dispute involving the victim and his 18-year-old girlfriend” hold on “the situation escalated sharply when the woman’s brother intervened after witnessing what he perceived as the victim pulling his sister during an argument” okay, I don’t know about the gunshot part but the facial fracture I would say is well deserved. Laying hands on the man sister? Chupzz

    • That was excessive he could have gone and asked questions instead of becoming violent. Try to defuse the situation.

  3. Sometimes people need to let couples be. At the end of the day is night and she’s going to choose that same man. Couples fight sometimes. I hope the brother never lay his hands on a woman
