The newly refurbished St John’s Police Station will be officially reopened this morning after several months of refurbishment work.

This significant event marks the return of a fully refurbished and modernized facility, dedicated to enhancing the delivery of policing services to the people of Antigua and Barbuda.

This long-awaited upgrade has introduced a range of essential improvements both inside and outside the historic building.

Key renovations include the installation of new plumbing and electrical systems, as well as various structural enhancements designed to modernize the facility.

These upgrades are designed to significantly improve working conditions for law enforcement personnel, while also enhancing the station’s capacity to serve the public more effectively.

With the project now complete, the government anticipates that it will not only benefit the police force but also contribute to the broader government efforts to upgrade national infrastructure.

The opening ceremony is scheduled to commence at 9:30 a.m

    • Well isn’t it obvious that the holding cells are upgraded? Benefit the police in getting this filthy criminals off the streets. They don’t even deserve proper environment
