The All Saints Road, a vital artery into the city, is set to undergo significant rehabilitation as part of the government’s enhanced infrastructure initiative.
This development comes from a recent announcement by Senator Clement Antonio, the newly appointed Minister of State in the Ministry of Works.
“We have been engaging with various contractors who are interested in securing contracts for the project,” Senator Antonio revealed. He explained that the design of the roadway has undergone extensive intervention to address existing concerns.
Senator Antonio stated that work on All Saints Road is expected to commence in the last quarter of the year.
He emphasized the need for careful engineering to ensure that the road will be durable and able to withstand the test of time.
During a press conference at Government House following his swearing-in, the Minister encouraged the public to exercise patience as discussions and preliminary work continue.
“The All Saints Road remains a priority of the government, and we are committed to keeping the public informed about the rollout of this important reconstruction,” he assured.

This is one of the most traversed roadways and it really does need urgent attention so I eagerly look forward to it’s rehabilitation
Me nah tink allyuh know which part All Saints road dey nah. Chupz!!!
This is great news but they better have traffic plans in place. That road being closed could paralyze the city.
Happy to wait if it means getting a real fix. No more dodging potholes like it’s an obstacle course!
Great to hear All Saints Road is finally getting attention. This is long overdue. Let’s hope the ‘before year-end’ promise holds, and the work is completed efficiently with minimal disruption to daily life.
