SLBMC Team Celebrates Top Grade Six Performer with Give-Back Initiative
Staff at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre (SLBMC) have come together to honour academic excellence and give back to the community through a heartwarming Grade Six Give-Back Initiative.
The Medical Records and Outpatient Clinic Department recently celebrated the success of 11-year-old Agnita Forbes, a top performer in this year’s Grade Six National Assessment Exam.
Forbes earned a coveted spot among the Top 100 students and will begin her secondary education at Antigua Girls’ High School in September.

In recognition of her achievement, the department presented her with a monetary award of EC $1,370.
This initiative was made possible through the generous contributions of the medical records staff and colleagues, and it reflects their commitment to community, education, and empowering the next generation.
The SLBMC team extends its congratulations to Agnita and her family, expressing confidence that her bright future is just beginning.

What a fantastic way for the SLBMC team to support and encourage our students. Recognizing and rewarding academic success not only boosts the individual child but also sets a wonderful example for the entire community.
