
CUB’s Hell’s Gate Steel Orchestra wins Panorama 2025
Last night, the vibrant sounds of steel pan music filled the air as the annual State Insurance Company Limited Panorama competition came to a thrilling conclusion.
The event, renowned for celebrating the rich culture of pan music, saw an impressive lineup of talented orchestras vying for the coveted title.
In a spectacular display of skill and creativity, the Caribbean Union Bank Hell’s Gate Steel Orchestra claimed first place with their performance of “De Crazy Man” by King Onyan.
The orchestra’s innovative arrangement won over the audience and judges alike, solidifying their reputation as one of the premier steel orchestras in the region.
Following closely in the competition, the Pandemonium Steel Orchestra secured the 1st Runner-Up position with their lively rendition of “Mental Day” by Claudette ‘CP’ Peters.
Their energetic performance showcased both technical prowess and an undeniable passion for pan music that resonated with everyone present.

The 2nd Runner-Up title was awarded to Halcyon Steel Orchestra, whose rendition of “Magician” by Burning Flames captivated the crowd with its engaging arrangements and rhythms.
