Antigua & Barbuda Makes Waves at Monaco Yacht Show

Antigua and Barbuda once again turned heads at the Monaco Yacht Show, one of the most prestigious gatherings in the world of luxury yachting.

The Caribbean nation’s stand stood out as a lively hub for yacht owners, brokers, and industry insiders, all drawn to learn more about its natural harbours, turquoise waters, and growing reputation as a sailing paradise.

Flying the flag for Antigua and Barbuda in Monaco was Honorary Consul Dr. Marco Garavaglia, who said the show remains a vital stage for showcasing what the twin-island state has to offer.

“The Monaco Yacht Show is an extraordinary platform to present Antigua & Barbuda as a prime destination for yacht owners and sailing enthusiasts,” Garavaglia told visitors.

“Our presence here reflects the strong will to strengthen ties between our two countries and to foster new opportunities for collaboration.”

But Antigua and Barbuda’s participation went beyond tourism. The country used the event to emphasize its broader ambitions: forging stronger diplomatic links, exploring new business connections, and highlighting the unique bridge between the tiny Caribbean state and the wealthy Principality of Monaco.

For years, Antigua and Barbuda has been a fixture in the global yachting calendar, with its harbours regularly welcoming some of the world’s largest superyachts. The show offered another reminder of why the islands continue to punch above their weight on the international stage.
