Police have arrested and charged a 35-year-old man from Cassada Gardens after investigations revealed that he allegedly entered into a second marriage while still legally married.
According to reports, the accused is said to have tied the knot with another woman on April 9, 2025, during a ceremony at Fort James, despite his first marriage still being valid.
Following further inquiries, law enforcement officers took the man into custody, and he has since been formally charged with bigamy under the laws of Antigua and Barbuda.
He is expected to make his first court appearance shortly to answer to the charge.
