Prime Minister Gaston Browne says a new political poll suggests the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) is poised to make significant gains in the next general election, with several constituencies currently held by the United Progressive Party (UPP) projected to shift in the ruling party’s favour.

Speaking on the findings of a recent poll conducted by regional pollster Peter Wickham, Browne said the data indicates growing support for the ABLP across traditionally competitive seats.

According to the Prime Minister, the poll shows “clear movement” toward Labour candidates, reflecting what he described as increased public confidence in the government’s performance and leadership.
