Police are investigating a fatal shooting that claimed the life of a young man in Perry Bay during the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The victim, believed to be in his twenties, reportedly died after gunshots were heard in the community shortly before dawn. Authorities were alerted to the incident and responded to the scene, where the young man was found with gunshot wounds.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Details surrounding the circumstances of the shooting remain unclear at this time, and investigators have not yet released the identity of the deceased.
