Makeup artist and entrepreneur Charity Henry has brought pride to Antigua and Barbuda after capturing the crown at the Miss International Elegant Mothers Pageant 2026, held in St. Maarten / Saint Martin.

Henry, a proud mother of two daughters, competed against contestants from several countries and secured the title on Sunday, marking a proud moment for Antigua and Barbuda on the international stage.

Born and raised in Antigua, Henry’s journey to the crown reflects years of dedication to both her craft and leadership. She first gained recognition while attending All Saints Secondary School, where she served as Head Girl and distinguished herself through her leadership and creativity.

Her career in the beauty industry began at just 13 years old, launching what has now become more than a decade-long journey in makeup artistry and entrepreneurship. Over the years, she has developed a strong reputation across the Caribbean through her brand ‘Makeup by Charity H’, particularly for her vibrant carnival makeup artistry. Henry frequently travels to regional carnivals transforming revelers with her signature style.

Her passion for pageantry also runs deep. In 2017, she captured the Miss Teenage Pageant 2017 title while representing All Saints Secondary School. She later went on to win the Miss Labour Queen 2022, representing Gaston Browne and the St. John’s City West constituency.

Beyond pageantry, Henry has also received regional recognition for her work in the beauty industry. She was among three Antiguan women who claimed categories at the Caribbean Posh Icon Women Awards, where she won the Artistry in Beauty Award for her work through Makeup by Charity H.

Her victory at the Miss International Elegant Mothers Pageant highlights not only her personal accomplishments but also the growing presence of Antiguan women making their mark on regional and international platforms.
