Deadline Looms for OAS Scholarships as Final Week Begins

The Ministry of Education, Sports and Creative Industries is urging eligible applicants to act quickly as the deadline for the 2026 Organization of American States (OAS) Academic Scholarship Programme fast approaches.

Prospective candidates now have just days left to submit applications for both undergraduate and graduate study opportunities under the regional scholarship initiative.

The Ministry has confirmed that Friday, April 2, 2026, is the final deadline for the submission of all applications and supporting documents to the Director of Education.

The OAS scholarship programme offers opportunities for individuals to pursue higher education across participating member states, with options available for graduate-level studies as well as undergraduate applicants in the final two years of a bachelor’s degree.

Officials are encouraging interested persons to review the eligibility requirements and complete the necessary application forms before the cutoff date, noting that late submissions will not be considered.

As the final week begins, applicants are being reminded to ensure all documentation is properly completed and submitted on time to avoid missing out on the opportunity.
