A reflective Anthony Smith celebrates his victory in the 2026 Antigua and Barbuda General Election

All Saints West came out in full support for their MP Anthony Smith as Smith proves the confidence from residents in his representation was more than a party line vote.

Smith’s victory was officially announced in early morning of 3am and reinforced a clear message from residents as he defeated the UPP’s former leader Harold Lovell by 384 votes.

Smith’s win came as the ABLP returned to the 2018 election results, with Prime Minister Gaston Browne securing a fourth consecutive term in office with a 15-2 seat representation in Parliament.

Smith said the snap election served as a reminder of the importance of maintaining direct ties with the people he represents.

  1. Damn ass Lovell. You go from losing by 6 votes to now over 300. Your ass should have stayed in City East

  2. Harold Lovell should have stayed away from this general election and given a younger person the opportunity. The majority of our voting-age population in Antigua and Barbuda is between 18 and 45. This population needs their peers to represent them in parliament.
Five years with the ABLP is going to be a rough ride. Brace yourself people and pray for the best. Always remember that NO political party is perfect.
