LIAT Air Celebrates Second Anniversary with Launch of Customer Rewards Programme

6 August 2026 - 11:26

LIAT Air is celebrating its second anniversary by rewarding the passengers who have supported its growth across the Caribbean, unveiling a new loyalty programme that allows frequent travellers to earn points every time they fly.

The airline officially launched LIAT Air Club on Thursday, describing it as a customer-focused initiative designed to make regional travel more rewarding while recognising passenger loyalty.

Membership in the programme is free and available through the airline’s website. Once enrolled, customers will earn one point for every dollar spent on eligible flights. Those points can be redeemed for flight tickets, excess baggage and other rewards, with additional member benefits expected to be introduced over time.

In a move aimed at rewarding existing customers, LIAT Air is also allowing passengers who travelled with the airline during the past three months to claim points retroactively for eligible flights after signing up. Customers have until September 30, 2026, to submit those claims.

Chief Executive Officer Hafsah Abdulsalam said the launch is a way of thanking the thousands of customers who have supported the airline since it began operations.

She said the airline has spent the past two years expanding its route network and improving the travel experience for passengers, adding that the new programme reflects LIAT Air’s commitment to giving back to its customers by making travel more accessible and rewarding.

The loyalty programme offers four membership levels, Blue, Bronze, Silver and Gold, with travellers unlocking additional benefits as they fly more frequently.

The launch marks another milestone for the regional carrier, which has continued to expand its network since returning to the skies two years ago. LIAT Air said it remains focused on strengthening connectivity throughout the Caribbean while delivering greater value and convenience to travellers.

As it celebrates its second anniversary, the airline expressed appreciation to the passengers who have supported its operations, saying their trust and loyalty have been instrumental in its journey and reaffirming its commitment to connecting Caribbean destinations for years to come.
