Antigua and Barbuda’s Abigail Piper delivered an outstanding performance at the Miss Caribbean Beauty and Intelligence Pageant, securing the position of second runner-up and capturing two major sectional awards.

Piper was named Best in Talent and Best in Evening Wear after representing the twin-island nation with what supporters described as grace, poise, intelligence, beauty, and authenticity.

Although members of her team expressed disappointment that she did not capture the crown, they acknowledged that pageantry is subjective and that judges make their decisions based on established criteria.

Piper’s success was supported by a team of professionals who worked with her in several areas of the competition.

Her award-winning talent presentation was coached by Vinema Jarvis, while Sharon Barton designed and created the evening wear that earned Piper another major award.

Jamilla Kirwan of JKCoaching268 provided interview and self-development coaching, while Leanda-Ann Norville assisted with Piper’s walk, deportment and image management. Norville also served as Piper’s chaperone throughout the pageant.

Norville was praised for the care, guidance and commitment she demonstrated during the journey.

Stephon Hector served as Piper’s “man-of-business,” while Angelica O’Donoghue and Caro Q-Jarvis were also recognised as members of Team Abbie.

Despite missing out on the overall title, Piper’s second runner-up placement and two sectional victories were hailed as a proud achievement for Antigua and Barbuda.

The crown was won by Anguilla’s Akema Carty, who was congratulated by the Antigua and Barbuda delegation for her performance.
