Popular Antiguan media personality and former Observer Radio talk-show host Paul Quinn has been readmitted to hospital following another setback in his prolonged health battle.

Quinn, well known for co-hosting the widely followed Voice of the People programme, returned to hospital last week Thursday afternoon after experiencing low blood pressure, an irregular heart rate and a bout of aspiration pneumonia.

According to an update from his family, the veteran broadcaster is responding positively to treatment and is now doing much better.

“He is doing a lot better now. Please keep him in your prayers,” the family shared with Antigua.news

Quinn has been recovering since suffering a severe stroke on November 10, 2024. His illness prompted an outpouring of support from colleagues, listeners and members of the wider community.

As he continues receiving medical care, his family believes the sustained prayers of supporters have helped him through nearly two years of serious health challenges.

“It is those prayers of the believers that are keeping him going now, almost two years,” the family said.

Relatives also expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has continued to enquire about Quinn and support them throughout his recovery.

“Thanks for asking, thanks for caring and thanks for praying.”

The family is appealing for prayers and encouragement to continue as the beloved broadcaster works towards further recovery.
