A vehicle crashed into the newly erected fence at the Antigua and Barbuda Red Cross headquarters on Old Parham Road during the early hours of Saturday morning.
The white Toyota Vitz sustained extensive damage, particularly to its rear and left side. The impact also damaged a concrete pillar and tore down a large section of the organisation’s metal fence and gate.

Images from the scene show the badly damaged vehicle lodged against the property, with broken concrete, twisted metal and other debris scattered across the roadway.
The condition of the driver was not immediately known, and the circumstances leading to the crash remain unclear.
The incident is especially disheartening because the Red Cross recently erected the fence around its property.
Further information is expected as the authorities investigate the accident.

This is pure madness!!!
I pray the driver is not too badly injured .
Unless it’s some catastrophic mechanical failure, the next bet is reckless driving!
My vet is on the latter!!
