Two young participants are stepping into new ambassadorial roles after emerging as the top winners of the 2026 Work Fu Um Junior Pageant.

Alexander Francis captured the Junior King title, while Ariel Royer was crowned Junior Queen during the second staging of the pageant, held on Saturday, September 5, at the Villa Polyclinic.

The competition formed part of the annual Work Fu Um Summer Camp, organized by Peetron Thomas and his team through Peetron Movement International (PMI) and Peetron Music.

Beyond the competition, organizers say the pageant is designed to give young people an opportunity to build confidence, develop leadership skills and showcase their talents.

This year’s summer camp was held under the theme “Wadadli Superhero,” which encouraged participants to recognize their abilities and consider how they can use their talents to serve others and make a positive difference in their communities.

As the newly crowned Work Fu Um Junior King and Queen, Francis and Royer will now serve as Junior Ambassadors for PMI and Peetron Music.

Both winners will receive prize packages valued at $5,000, which include back-to-school items, three singles, a professional photoshoot and an electronic device.

The Junior Pageant is one component of the wider Work Fu Um Summer Camp, which exposes young people to activities in music, dance, drama, culture, education, talent development and community involvement.

Francis and Royer are expected to represent the Work Fu Um initiative throughout their reign while encouraging other young people to have confidence in themselves and pursue their goals.
