Janiah Antion of Golden Grove
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Janiah Antion of Golden Grove in connection with the murder of 60-year-old Swetes resident Mordecai Eleazar Francis.
Antion, who is believed to be in his early twenties, is considered armed and dangerous. Members of the public have been strongly warned not to approach or attempt to engage him if he is seen.
Instead, they should immediately contact the nearest police station or the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913.
Police have also appealed directly to Antion to surrender at any police station without delay.

Another young man’s name tied to a murder investigation… Something really going wrong with some of our young people. We need to get to the root of this violence.
Parents need to parent and stop being neglectful. You spread your legs and get pregnant and don’t want the responsibility of raising these kids.
Shame on these children parents. It’s time we hold them just as responsible for their children’s bad deeds.
I’m sure they knew their son had a gun and turned a blind eye or applauded them when they return home with their ill gotten gain. These parents are just as guilty as their children.
