Kirwan will carry this country’s flag at the inaugural Miss Afrikana International pageant 2027. The Miss Afrikana International team used their social media page to welcome this country’s ambassador, declaring she will represent with cultural pride, fearless creativity, and a heart for community.

Kirwan has always expressed an interest in competing internationally; she represented Antigua & Barbuda at four regional pageants during her reign and was in the winners’ circle three times.

The Miss Afrikana International pageant sets out to celebrate women of African descent. It also seeks to be a global beacon of representation, cultural pride, and leadership.

It is scheduled to be held on November 11, 2027.
