Delroy Victor
The tragic news of the passing of 27-year-old Delroy Victor has sent shockwaves through the community, with friends and family taking to social media to express their disbelief and sorrow.
“He was the life of the farm,” one of his co-workers fondly recalled, emphasizing the vibrant presence he brought to every day. His cousin shared her concern, revealing that she sensed something was amiss with Delroy in the days leading up to his death.
“He had started to drink a lot,” she noted, suggesting he might have been grappling with emotions tied to a painful memory or loss.
The local shopkeeper painted a contrasting picture of Delroy, remembering him as a beacon of joy who always wore a bright smile when he stopped by to purchase food or water.
“He will be missed,” she said, echoing the sentiment that resonated through the hearts of those who knew him. The profound loss of a soul so full of life has left a void that will be felt deeply in their tight-knit community.
On Wednesday, Victor a well-known farmer was found hanging at his home in what police say seems to have been a suspected suicide. He relocated to Antigua three years ago. Delroy was released from the hospital on Tuesday after ingesting poison and was told to return on Wednesday at 12pm.
Condolences to his family.
So so sad my friend. It’s a pity you never thought it fit to reach out to someone for help, even if it was just to talk. Your burden must have been real real heavy, I hope you have found peace.
So somebody tried to kill themself you relesee them and ask them to come back at midday the next day
Like really and truly shouldn’t be have been placed under observation?
Well look what happen now. Smfh
Hospital negligence once again at its best. Condolences to the young man.
This is ridiculous . The hospital should have the common sense to refer mental patients to the Mental Hospital for observation, but they do not concern themselves with that , it is not their problem. I had a similar experience when a family member who is schizophrenic was kept for a few hours drugged up and sent home.
Ii agree
why did the hospital release him and ask him to come back? why not seek help immediately for him? when people suffer from mental health problems its very hard its not easy telling them to go home and come back
