Antigua and Barbuda has recorded one new Covid-19-related death and 81 new cases of the deadly virus.

Health officials say the cases were as of September 21, 2022, at 6 pm.

According to reports, five cases were recorded on September 5th, five on September 6th, three on September 7th, ten on September 8th, eight on September 9th, two on September 12th, five on September 13th, twenty-one on September 14th, four on September 15th, one on September 16th, three on September 20th and fourteen on September 21st.

The hospital said 2,218 samples were processed.

Meanwhile, ninety-two recovered cases were recorded.   

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is nine thousand and eighty-nine which is inclusive of twenty-one active cases. There are three mild hospitalized cases.
