The Urban Renewal Department, under the National Housing and Urban Renewal Company Ltd, has commenced the construction of concrete roads in Bendals.
This initiative is part of the government’s National Roads Programme aimed at improving infrastructure across the country.
Senator Rawdon Turner, the executive chairman of National Housing, revealed these developments during tonight’s interview on the Browne and Browne Show on Pointe FM.
The senator emphasized the significance of this project, noting that these upgrades will enhance transportation and connectivity for residents.
In addition to Bendals, the Urban Renewal Department will expand roadwork efforts across its various developments and other key areas throughout Antigua and Barbuda.
This national push for infrastructure improvement aligns with the government’s broader objectives of modernizing the country’s road network, ultimately promoting growth and development in both urban and rural communities.
This will do very good for the community and the overall environment. This is great!
