Jamaican Man Attacks Officer at V.C Bird Moments Before Deportation

You can now listen to Antigua News articles!

This morning, an incident occurred involving a Jamaican national who was being deported.

As the immigration officers were transporting him to the V.C Bird International Airport, the man reportedly became agitated and assaulted one of the officers.

Eyewitnesses stated that the man slapped the immigration officer as soon as he was being escorted out of the vehicle.

The situation escalated as the deportee started behaving erratically, prompting the officers to work to keep him under control.

Despite their attempts, there were multiple scuffles between the deportee and law enforcement before he was finally subdued.

Following the altercation, he was handcuffed and taken to the rear of the terminal.

It is anticipated that he will face charges of battery and possibly assault.

This entire sequence of events unfolded at the entrance of the departure area of the airport.

Something is seriously amiss here! At first, I though that question, Where was he being deported to? to be totally asinine. Back to Jamaica of course! But then it seems to be the question of the day with the response, To Antigua of course! This story smells fishy to say the least. The man, about to be deported from our shores, is to be detained further to answer charges of battery on police!!! That would-be deportee literally BOUGHTtime to remain in Antigua. You can bet that he will soon “escape from prison authorities”, never to foung again! Is Antigua a real place?

You can bet that he will soon “escape” from prison authorities, never to be found again. Let’s watch.

Lol Antigua is not a real place. He really wants to stay in Antigua to go to an overcrowded prison. He does not seem to want to go back to his country of birth.

How was he able to slap the officer? Shouldn’t his hands be cuffed even after boarding the aircraft?
